5th Amdt. protection, financial audits and funds received through their now admitted criminal activities can be confiscated under civil forfeiture proceedings. The pardon might shield the guilty from criminal prosecution, but it isn't a get out of jail free card. The Trump DOJ will likely pursue civil forfeiture of the ill gotten gains of their crimes.
