For two dozen years I have been faithfully, accurately and
of course honestly pointing out the many many many many hypocrisies of our republican friends. (It is afterall one of their most defining characteristics).
The trump is reported to be signing 200 executive orders today. Executive orders, as has been discussed on this board should not be legal and should carry no legal weight.
They were designed to be interpretations of the law by Presidents, now they are simply extra legislation bald faced making up laws as fits the whim of the President.
While that has been true of democrats, today will be the most egregious example in American history.
As bad as that is, that is not so much hypocrisy.
Many (perhaps almost all) of them will be bad for America. As bad as that is- that is not so much hypocrisy. Many (perhaps almost all) of them will be challenged in the courts as not being legal and of course bad for America. As bad as that is, and as corrupt as the Supreme Corrupt are that is not so much hypocrisy. Many of them will be so vague that they are virtually blank checks for corruption and harming America. As bad as that is, that is not so much hypocrisy.
Want to hear what is hypocrisy?
For the last 4 years republicans have been whining and pouting and crying that Biden is just a figurehead totally controlled by other unelected forces.
Well gentlemen (I don't think we have a single lady any more) there is zero, and by zero I mean negative chance that the trump bothered to read all (maybe even any) of these 200 Executive Orders. Reminiscent of MASH, some flunky will be shoving papers at the trump, telling him what he is allegedly signing , and I guess we will find out later what it was.
Now the singing and dancing.
Welcome to the hypocrisy
Welcome to the GOP
Welcome to the darkness.
