a win over Miss St or A&M would secure a bye on Wednesday - would need the tiebreaker over at least one of the other teams at 10-8. Where the other wins come from wouldn’t matter as far as seeding.
Kenpom currently projects wins over Arkansas (69%), Mississippi (50%), A&M (50%), Oklahoma (69%), and South Carolina (78%).
Projected close losses are Kentucky (49%), at Vanderbilt (48%), at Arkansas (43%), at Oklahoma (42%), Alabama (41%), at Georgia (39%), and at Texas (37%). All are projected as 4-pt or less games. Need two of those to get to 10-8.
The only game projected as double-figure spread is at Tennessee: 75-64 (15%). The rest are 8-pts or less.
It’s going to be an interesting remainder of the season with a lot of close games.
