We had great assistants who coached and recruited very successful players. Roger Werhli was spotted at a small school track meet and went on to be one of our greatest players. Guys like Clay Cooper made it happen. Hank Kuhlman, Harry Smith, Uncle Al, later Dick Jamieson, Carl Reese. Good times to be a Tiger.
