Funny thing about Tulsa King, it was originally intended to be set in Kansas City. But the producers later realized that it would be unrealistic for a mob guy to travel from NY to the Midwest and muscle his way into a city that already had a well established mafia. That's what I read at least; I know the KC part is true but not sure about the reason for the change. Sounds plausible at least.
