Last Saturday it was subbing in Pierce for Warrick with about 3-4 minutes left and Pierce's rebounding and getting a turnover on a ball on the endline were critical.
Last night Perkins gets ejected with about 8 minutes left and Gates went to Robinson who had four fouls. Clayton had been destroying us and with the way the game was called it was inevitable that Robinson would have fouled out before the four minute mark. Instead of staying with him, he puts in Barrett shortly thereafter whose defense was tremendous. So good that Robinson never was brought back in to guard Clayton. It took guts to give TO the chance and he certainly made the best of it.
