compete in sports that would have never been open to them otherwise.

But Title IX was never intended to destroy men's sports to give the women a leg up.

The easy fix to Title IX is to simply exempt football and then apply Title IX to everything else. Football sucks up resources like no other sport BUT it is the sport that pays the bills for all the others.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
