If you keep allowing her to emotionally manipulate the family and the whole situation she will TEAR the family apart in do time.
You can Set boundaries and hard lines and adhere to them, if she is unwilling to follow those rational guidelines then shun her.
It's that simple. Be honest and forthwith.
The issue today is even Most Mental Health Professionals will give horrible advice and let the Rot in a Family situation grow and grow, letting the unbalanced manipulator be in control while everyone else is dancing circles around their whims and desires trying to please them and never accomplishing this as their demands grow more insane and the family is more miserable.
Why do so many Mental health professionals give this bad advice ... because it's easier for the family to do and it's what they want to hear and it pacifies the family's want to not draw that hardline and have to man up to it.
Eventually the schism does comes and the Cancer is removed because the situation became unbearable for everyone or the Cancer removes themselves despite the knee bending because they are that mentally ill... but the M.H. pro got paid and didn't have to point the family down the Hard road that would of led to a quicker resolution, instead they tell them what they want to hear.
