instances in the Sacred Scriptures where He punishes those who do wicked things. Not always, and not always immediately... but sometimes that is so. It is not up to us to judge, but Our Lord is indeed also the God of Justice.
One instance is when Korah, Dathan, and Abi′ram rebel against Moses and Aaron, demanding that they themselves should be priests. See Numbers 16 25ff:

Another is when Onan "spilled his seed on the ground"... an act of coitus interruptus, artificial contraception so that his new wife would not become pregnant... and the Lord slew him. (Genesis 38:9-10)
