The pictures were at a distance. They were not sexualized in any way. No kid will be harmed by the pictures.

If those pics aroused you, well that is on you.

are the pics completely necessary, nah. Are they outright overt, normalizing, grooming, or similar, not at all.

If you are concerned with your kids seeing it, then don't let them see it. the books are not abusive in any manner
