about have to win all our home games, but Ark has issues and we need to take advantage.
I don't really feel great about many road games and have picked the Texas game as a loss, but they have not beaten anybody with a pulse this year. NC St is the best win and they're 9-7 with a kenpom in the 90's. Again, not picking us to win, but this game isn't as scary as it was.
Ole Miss is dangerous but they also don't have much in the way of impressive wins prior to SEC play and they lost to Memphis worse than we did at it wasn't the opener. As a home game, we pretty much gotta win this one.
Miss St is good and we'll probably lose, but it wouldn't be earth shattering for us to win. Jans is a coach that I had higher on my list than Gates.
Tennessee will probably kill us.
A&M has one of the better resumes in the SEC but as a home game, we really need it.
OU has problems, Must Win. Zero margin for error at home.
A few of you got really worked up the other day when I was categorizing games and went off about how good this team was or how tough that team was. The point that you missed, it even if the other 15 SEC teams are ranked 1-15 in the nation, some of those game are still easier than others. Doesn't mean any game is easy, but it is a fact that some games are harder or easier than others. And we must win as many of the "easier" games as possible. When I say we must beat somebody, it doesn't mean it'll be easy, but it means we must win it to get where we want to be in March.
And I do not think 8 SEC wins automatically gets us in as many of you seem to believe. I think it's a maybe depending on a signature upset in there, but if we have 8 wins against the bottom 6 teams, I don't feel good about it. Let's just shoot for 9 or 10.
