I have a difficult time believing her excuses. Its her responsibility to ensure assets, including manpower, materials and equipment are staged and ready to respond to a fire emergency. Catastrophic wild fires occur on a smaller scale every year in SoCal. The LAFD is supposed to contain those fires and ensure they don't become widespread.
