Yes, if she had just wrapped the ball tight they could not have tied her up without fouling her. Mistake on her part. But the bigger mistake was the inbounds pass to her as she was pinned against the sideline. Not the first time in my memory that Mizzou had a poorly planned, poorly executed inbounds play in a crucial situation. Kind of a feature for Pingeton, not a bug.
And if I’m not mistaken, after Judd hit the 3 point shot to start the 4th quarter, at like the 9:40 mark, not only did she not score a point the rest of the entire quarter, she didn’t even attempt a single shot from that point on. How is that possible, that with the night she was having on offense, that their hottest player didn’t even attempt a shot for the last 9:40 of the game.
Another unbelievable part of a game they let slip away.
