I like the premise, and I like Billy Bob a lot as an actor, but man it's just not written very well. A lot of the dialogue is pretty hokey and in-your-face when some situations would better call for subtelty to keep them interesting.
Its like every scene is filled with dialogue to tell you exactly what every character is planning on doing. There's no intrigue. No wondering whats going to happen next, because they tell you first.
The ex-wife constantly on the phone acting like a teenager with the sence of humor of a middle-schooler is quite obnoxious. Thats a terrible character.
