It's semi-pro ball, and I'm having a hard time reconciling it w/ the CBB I grew up with. Recruiting has always been important, but the straight up bribery allows the most venal to collect the best players. I'm looking forward to conference play, but there'll never be another season like 93/94 when MU went 14-0 in conference play. That's just sad.
