really do is look at the SEC record vs non sec teams, particularly P4 teams since NIL came into existence, and more recently unlimited transfers. What you are going to see is the end of the dominance the SEC once had. Even when the big name schools or big money schools get a player, said player is just as likely to take off to another school offering a bigger payday so the continuity that traditional power house teams had with returning big time players each year will dwindle.
All in all the SEC will remain one of the big 2 conferences and most years get a team into the semis maybe even two in a good year, but by and large you can expect the following years to look a lot like this year did.
