I went to Ft Monmouth. A 42 week crypto school. Basically using PCs before were in the public domain to encrypt voice and written messages. Of all things we trained Israelis and Iranians too in the day

About 70% of the enlisted men failed the course so they took 10 college graduate draftees and put us through---guys from Purdue, Wisc, Tex A&M. Rutgers, Wisc....and me from Mizzou We all passed so it was determined to be the people going to the school not the course itself
