The reason I asked is that it sucks for those guys playing in the playoffs who may want to transfer as soon as they are finished. In this scenario they have to wait until mid-April. I'm hoping they change this next year that the portal does not open until after all games are played. This will keep all players on their initial team to play in bowl games, etc.
