blue bloods of the conference were mediocre on the road this year, which didn't bode well for their performances in playoffs and bowl games. Alabama lost three games on the road and one at a neutral site. UGA lost two away games and one neutral site game. LSU and aTm both lost two on the road, with aTm losing its neutral site bowl game.

This was definitely a down year for the SEC.
