She heads into SEC play ranked #11 in the nation in assist to turnover margin.
On a team historically plagued by turnovers, and averaging 15.4 per game so far, she needs to be on the floor.
It would be a huge bonus if she could average 10 ppg, instead of her current 2.5 ppg. Not enough to make us a tournament team, but enough to make us more competitive against our peers.
As usual, a grain of salt regarding stats, since our schedule has been so pathetic. We are going to be facing a lot of truly withering defenses and pressure in SEC play. It could get ugly. Starting of course with SC tomorrow night.
And gotta get my Izzy note in here. She’s the 4th leading scorer in the nation, averaging nearly 24 ppg. Logic says that will go down once SEC games start, the question is by how much. As the only credible scoring threat on a bad Arkansas team opponents are going to be keying on her every game.
