You wanna leave the top five conference champions in? Fine. Seed the teams as they are ranked and be done with it.
Putting Boise at three and Arizona State at four jacked up the rest of the bracket.
Seed the teams as they are ranked and you will get better first round and quarterfinal match ups, and you will have more of the pretenders gone right away.
And you won't have the number one seed as an underdog in their first playoff game
