Jesus allegedly taught kindness. Christians rushed in an mucked up all that the Jews were waiting for. A Messiah is an anointed as a king to take on and slay enemies for kingdom of Israel. Christians got that one wrong. But then THE STORY of a baby come to "save the world" is an effective one.
