NIL will have to change. Performance on the field has to equal or exceed the value of the players NIL $$. Right now, it's who can negotiate the best deal with any given school. In addition, there's no NIL cap. Schools with the most $$ still can field the best teams. But players that schools plan to count on multiple years can leave anytime.

NIL contracts will eventually include penalties for leaving early without the schools consent, performance clauses, etc. Mirror NFL contracts.
