I'm disappointed that we lost because I don't think IL is that good and they had nearly 20 TOs. But when we get out-rebounded, miss too many FTs, shoot under 40% FG and get nothing from our starting PG... I'm amazed that the game was as close as it was.
What worries me the most going into SEC play, is who are going to be the players we can count on for consistency? Bates, yes. Mitchell, occasionally. Even though we have a big roster, we haven't had anyone really step forward and play well consistently. That's been the case even in our weak non-con schedule.
I guess if Crews had made the final shot, all of this would be moot.
