Regarding new roster sizes…

Somethings got to give, since the number of teams aren't expanding. Likely outcomes:
1. Some players are going to go down levels, from P4 teams to mid majors, from mid majors down to D2 or D3.
2. Other players may discontinue playing at a college level.
I havnt seen estimates on how it’s all going to play out, but that simply has to happen. Supply and demand. Remaining players at D1 levels on the 18 team rosters are going to be better compensated in terms of access to scholarships, and the better ones benefitting from NIL, although I have no idea what the money market is for volleyball. I’m sure some of the elite teams are going to cough up money to buy the elite players.
