He needed time to get comfortable with the speed of the college game and grow his confidence. His supporters never denied that. He was not ready to be an all around player when he arrived here. What he needed was spot duty where he could be used as a spot up shooter (his biggest weapon) so he could develop that confidence.

Now, as his confidence grows this season, his 3 pt shooting is:
34% on the season, which is acceptable
39% over the last 7 games, which is good
45% the last two games, which is elite

And equally important, he is showing the ability to do other things like, drive the basket, produce in transition, and playing good team defense. He's not a great one on one defender, but he is not a disaster switching like we like to do and he is solid helping from the weak side.
