if something isn't good in 2 weeks, could be 6 weeks normally, but nothing about Grill seeme normal. He seems to be an injury prone, slow healer. Bad combination. People who play the game like Grill and Pacheko, get hurt. What a shame for him , his family and friends. I have no idea what he's been able to do exercise wise but you decondition substantially in 5 days. He could do some aerobics on bikes.
