Playing Lipscomb this afternoon.
They lost to Vandy by 52 points, 102-50. Can we match or come close to that? Now that was the first game of the season. Vandy is decent, will probably make the NCAA tourney.
Lipscomb is 6-3 overall, 6 wins over nobody, and their other two losses were to Chattanooga by 6 and Belmont by 8. The Belmont loss could mean Lipscomb doesn’t suck, as they are a solid team, takes on really tough teams in non conference play. They lost to #9 Duke by 32 and #13 K State by 26, but had respectable losses to #11 Ohio St by 4 and #20 Michigan by 10. And they recently lost to a decent Miss St team 73-70 when they hit 3 FTs with 0.2 seconds remaining.
So do we get the team that lost to Vandy by 52 points, or the team that had a respectable loss to Belmont?
