Why 9? What's significant about that number?

I'd say these guys are in the rotation pretty soundly. Anyone else just needs time in blowouts or foul trouble:

Tier 1: Perkins, Ant, Mitchell, Bates, Grill, Gray, Shaw
Tier 2: Marshall, Allen, Pierce, Warrick

I know, that's 11 guys. More than 9, but we've got a deep roster this year.

Burns, Barrett, and even Boateng just don't seem ready to play meaningful minutes in big games. Maybe that will change in these last few non-con games, but it seems like the staff is starting to figure out rotations.

Not sure we have a role for Crews, honestly. I wouldn't waste much PT on him -- give that to the young guys when there is a blowout. That's one benefit of all of these cupcakes - lots of minutes available for the young guys to get on the court and rest the legs of our key dudes.
