Stupid and insecure people state their opinions as facts. So

when their opinions are shown to have been glaringly wrong, and just plain idiotic, they look like either a liar or a fool, usually both. And, being stupid and insecure, they tend to double down, make excuses or blame someone else for their misrepresentations.

However, if you state an opinion and identify it as an opinion, you were just wrong. Most people can relate to that. But stupid and insecure people cannot say the words "I was wrong".

So they get belligerent, double down, triple down, change the subject and attack, and make bigger fools of themselves than they were before.

And while it is amusing on occasion, to see the efforts of JG, the idiot, meat, and seagullible, making each of them in turn look childish, stupid, and then immature, there's really no sport in abusing them

It's too easy.

And while there are times when it is somehow gratifying to kick a puppy or step on a cockroach, I find it best in virtually all instances to allow them to expose themselves and experience their own humiliation on whatever terms they use.
