Bringing more than 30 years of coaching experience to Missouri, including 19 years as a head coach, David "Dickey" Nutt enters his third season with the Tigers and his first as assistant to the head coach/senior advisor.
In his role, Nutt works directly with Whitten Family Men’s Basketball Head Coach Dennis Gates and other Mizzou coaches –
assisting with analytics, scouting, film breakdown and other strategic initiatives.
There have been a minority of posters attributing my focus on Coach Nutt because he is white. That is wrong. As seen in games so far this season, his scouting and film breakdown with the team has vastly improved, and was missing with his time away for cancer treatment last year.

The team was well prepared for the game.
Kudos to Coach Nutt's contributions which were lacking last season.
Thank you for permitting me to clarify.
