I have only watched the last two games this year, a couple of observations. Last year it seemed like we could never settle on any lineups, constantly looking for the right combinations. This year we seem to have already settled on line ups that work! Reminds me of NBA team when it is time for the starters to rest we can substitute the whole line up and still have a scorer Warrick, ball handlers Perkins/ Barrett, defenders, Allen, rebounder Marshall, rim protector Shaw not to mention others.
Ant has shown he can run the offense, break some ankles and score, he was held back last year. Mitchell has shown a lot, the way he was taking the ball all the way to the rim, huge. Not to mention the physical nature of Gray, Mitchell, Marshall etc... very exciting! I remained positive about coach Gates even after last year and he has come through. I know the SEC is very very tough conference but we appear ready to rumble!
