They could do whatever they wanted because he had no idea what the hell was going on. But he was too mentally unfit to campaign. He was the same in 2020, but they were able to hide him then. He hasn't regressed THAT much. The KamalToe was a suitable replacement for them, but they misjudged her unlikability and lack of intelligence. She was a dream come true for Trump. She had no chance of winning.
