Decent opening round for SEC VB yesterday…

In addition to Missouri’s efficient 3-0 sweep over a decent Texas St team:
3 seed Kentucky swept Cleveland St
3 seed Texas swept TAMU CC
Unseeded Ole Miss upset 7 seed FSU 3-2
Unseeded Tennessee nearly beat 7 seed GT, losing in 5 sets
Unseeded SC went down to 5 seed Dayton 3-1
4-2 conference record so far, with first round matches today:
6 seed TAMU against Colorado St
6 seed Florida against NC State
8 seed Oklahoma against UTEP
Good chance for the conference to go 7-2 in the opening round.
Some big second round matches today to get to the sweet 16:
3 seed Kentucky against 6 seed Minnesota
3 seed Texas against 6 seed USC
7 seed Missouri against 2 seed SMU
Ole Miss against 2 seed Creighton
