He’s learning how to become an overal player I’m sure.

The starting is odd so I’d assume it’s a recruiting promise or something. Could also be that he doesn’t want to start anyone else because he likes them off the bench so he’s leaving him out there to start games. Not a horrible plan. If he picks up a foul or something no big deal.
