defense secretaries typically have (either they have been generals or leaders in the defense industry or congressmen that have had experience in armed services and become experts in the field), and the one organization he did lead he bankrupted. His highest rank was captain, and he was basically run out of the military because he was considered an "insider threat" (yes, officially he resigned, but it was clear the brass didn't trust him).

Even his mother has called him an "abuser of women".


This is only a few reasons why he shouldn't be SecDef.
