he didn't prepare as the starter (which I said was a big part of potential optimism), nor did he even come close to being the reason we would have lost that game
as for this, "The only positive you can say about him is he avoided any big mistakes against OU and allowed the rest of the team to win the game."
That is exactly my point, he can be servicable enough to get the team to a bowl game. Thanks for helping me out.
Now, go back and find some more stats to keep digging (even though you claim they are worthless for evaluating QB's in other instances)
