Another SEC team like Alabama or ole miss jumps Penn St.
While Penn State is in the Big Ten championship game, if they lose that, that gives them two losses and literally who have they beaten?
Alabama and Ole Miss both have multiple wins over playoff contenders, but both also have 3 losses including an "oof" one.
If the committee were to leave out Penn State, Indiana, or Ohio State, the argument between them would be interesting. That group of three teams only has two wins against playoff contenders and they are against each other. But Ohio State has both of them. But Ohio State also has by far the worst loss in that group.
I also think you will see teams seeded to try to avoid rematches.
