VB bracket projections…

Final bracket projections are up on Volleytalk.
Missouri is projected as a 6 seed, traveling to the #3 seed Arizona St regional, and playing San Diego in round 1. I’d take this in a heartbeat. Getting to the 6 seed line is very important, giving us a much better chance at a second round upset and a spot in the sweet 16.
3 seeds are projected as: Texas, Kentucky, Arizona St and Kansas.
2 seeds are projected as: Stanford, Creighton, Wisconsin and SMU.
Interestingly, they have Florida as a 6 seed and going to the 3 seed Kansas regional. Like some others here I would be surprised if the seed lines fit if we did not go to KU, but we will see. Still, a much better chance of beating an ASU or KU than a Stanford, Creighton or Wisconsin as a 7 seed.
SEC seed lines in the final bracket projections:
3 Kentucky
3 Texas
5 TAMU
6 Missouri
6 Florida
8 Oklahoma
8 Tennessee
Ole Miss
8 SEC teams feels about right. And Ole Miss isn’t a lock either, they are listed as one of the last 4 teams in. Maybe their final game this weekend, taking Texas to 5 sets in a tough loss in Austin, will impress the selection committee.
