Successful in being outside the rule of law. The justice department failed and was thwarted in serving its basic function. Nobody of any credibility believes that has to do with attempting to jail one’s political opponent, that is patently stupid.

Trump is also an incompetent imbecile whose intentions are to erode America and democracy. So now he will begin applying that to the justice department as well, in addition to attempting to have it corrupted to serve his idiotic and simplistic self interests. It’s not a conflicting or confusing position at all.
