So, this team versus Gate's first year team.
Kobe likely the best player on either team. But then you could say this team has 7 of the next 9 top players if you throw them all together.
We are deeper this year as first year, more talented 1-9 and more experienced with players playing in Power 5 conferences.
So, 20 + wins is not unrealistic. If you want to say too small a sample size, fine but we can start to draw some conclusions from our play, from our only loss being to a top 25 team.
Gates strongest suit that I have seen is his uncanny ability to find diamonds in the rough. He is turned up a few that didn't work, but the majority are very good players.
We are closer to giving Gates an extension than firing him.
