I will defend the team a bit by acknowledging that both blowouts were a result of a couple of bad calls or bad breaks snowballing into worse situations than they should have been. Yes, you can say that we lacked the fortitude to prevent the situation from snowballing out of control, but those things do sometimes happen.

There is no excuse for the loss to South Carolina. Couldn’t get out of our own way to let them gain a lead, and once we came back, we simply gave it away.

If this team had actually improved from the end of last year, we would be undefeated. If they had simply been consistently decent, we would have two losses both probably by 10 points or less.
