...then I agree - they're making it harder to go to a 9 game conference schedule.

I'd like to see the playoff go to 16 teams in 2026 - and the SEC and Big 10 force everyone else to agree to 5 SEC teams and 5 Big 10 teams at a minimum each year. Then a 9 game SEC schedule becomes more feasible as you could have a couple of 3 loss SEC teams in the mix
