Mizzou has ever played. Maybe the toughest.
Good for Coach Anderson. She’s not afraid to take on anyone. A very challenging schedule, but a schedule that lets us compete for yet another top 16 national seed and hosting opportunity. Win our fair share of these games and there should be no trouble having a very healthy RPI with a number of signature wins.
Before you even talk about the SEC schedule with the likes of OU, Texas, Alabama, Georgia and TAMU, the non conference schedule is the toughest I’ve seen probably ever.
By final 2024 ranking in the poll:
8 games against the final top 25:
5 UCLA
7 Ok St
8 Duke
14 FSU
16 Baylor
20 Oregon
23 NW
24 Clemson
Plus:
26 Michigan
29 Liberty
35 UCF
Throw in 2 games with Nebraska, who with a healthy Bahl is going to be a top 25-30 type team, and that’s 13 games.
Going by 2024 final RPI ranks:
6 games against top 1-25
11 games against top 26-50
7 games against top 51-100
4 games against top 101-115
And 4/32 games against RPI 185+ teams. That’s it.
Oh, and did I mention that's just the non conference slate?
Add in 15 more games against teams that finished the season ranked in the top 13 in the nation: OU, Texas, Alabama, TAMU, Georgia.
Wow.
