Nebraska 8th consecutive losing season - still on the table

Huskers at 5-5 are only a 2 1/2 point pick over Wisconsin this Saturday. Lose that - and they finish up at Iowa the following Friday.
Even if they win one of those, a bowl loss (1st bowl game in 8 years) could still result in a loss and an 8th consecutive losing season.
Who would have thought once mighty Nebraska might have a losing record 8 years in a row? And that's basically all that state has to root for.
The switch to the Big 10 worked out poorly for both sides - the Big 10 certainly didn't get the powerful football program from the Midwest that they envisioned getting when they got Nebraska.
