Half full. This team fights. They came out in the second half and played hard. The O line was amazing in the second half. Dominated the line of scrimmage. Our running backs planted a foot and got upfield. Receivers made some nice catches. After a pretty bad first half they put themselves in position to win the game. We were a play or two away from doing just that.

Half empty. We are too often undisciplined on defense. Teams know this. This screen just before half and the shovel pass TD were cases of over aggressive line play and not maintaining gap control/leverage. Our secondary gets lost too often. We are a mediocre at best tackling team. A big missed third down sack was likely the play of the game. And after running well all drive, on third and 1 inside the 10 we go play action and settle for 3. Just stupid. It seems at times Moore tries to be too clever for his own good.

Bottom line. We are a good team. We have never reached the level, on offense or defense, we hoped to be this year. It isn't a matter of not gelling or underperforming. This team simply is not as good as we had hoped they would be. But I like their fight and hope they finish strong. They more often than not make it exciting, for better or worse.
