but the reality is that we settled for way too many FG's to beat a good offensive team

The defense got the equivalent of two takeaways (INT and stopped 4th and 1) which gave the offense a short field and on one of those we came away with zero points

With that being said, the losses up front (both to graduation and injury) and the back end (graduation) caught up with us a little bit yesterday defensively
