Eva Longoria says she’s anxious and nervous for Americans who can’t “escape” their “dystopian country” following President-elect Trump’s White House win.
“The shocking part is not that he won,” Longoria told Marie Claire in an interview for its November cover story conducted two days after Trump triumphed in the presidential race.
“It’s that a convicted criminal who spews so much hate could hold the highest office,” said Longoria, who campaigned for Vice President Harris and spoke at the Democratic National Convention in August.
“I would like to think our fight continues,” the former “Desperate Housewives” star said. But, “If he keeps his promises … it’s going to be a scary place.” ...
