And Morrissey was a top 10 ranked recruit I believe, and she’s hardly seeing the court this year (and neither are the others in the current freshman class), so a good young nucleus for upcoming years.
In a related issue, I believe VB rosters are going to be restricted to 18 players starting in the 2025 season. We have 22 now. If that’s true wonder how the roster is going to shake out for 2025, with 6 current freshman and now 5 more coming in next fall.
In this day and age you have to leave yourself some roster wiggle room to go after transfers to bolster specific needs. The Kreklows always seemed to do a good job mixing high school recruits with key transfers.
