Gaetz.
I thought he behaved badly in the mess he created for the speakership last term. And it seems like unnecessary trouble and chaos for the new administration.
But I think of all the lawfare and dirty tricks the Biden boys used against Trump. Maybe the same against gates. I don't know. As I understand it, the legal issues against him were not pursued or were dropped altogether. Sounds like shenanigans from the current department of Justice.
Without evidence against Gaetz, I would vote to confirm and give Trump his choice. If Getz is a bum or a bungler, that reflects on Trump and he'll have to deal with it. But I'm not prepared to convict gaetz because of charges emanating from the administration.
